Hi there. I really like Carter goes well with your surname. middle names go well to but u dont use them everyday like when they go to school iykwim. Not too keen on the other two names tbh tho. Max reminds me of a dogs name and not sure about Ollie just not feeling it. Hope ive not offended just being honnest. I do really like Carter tho :)

Hi, my son is max but he is maximus, we had oliver on our shortlist and miles too.
I think carter is really nice I used to have a friend at primary school called carter and he was lovely!
Like Ollie too.
Obviously I like max lol!
Not keen on Hunter makes me think of a gladiator (off the tv programme!) :-)))xx

i like oliver and max but not so keen on the others. but, it doesnt matter what anybody else thinks, it is about what you and your husband like!
when we had our first, for a boy's name it was either thomas or oliver. we had a girl and she is olivia!
we are expecting our 2nd baby in 6 weeks and it is another girl, but we do have a boy's name on standby just in case (william george - they are family names) !

Thanks ladies - nice hearing your views and no offense taken everyone has different views or names that remind them of someone or something. Think we're going to do the whole calling him by one of the names for a day or so and see how that goes. Wont make a final decison until we see him anyway. Cant wait!

I like max and olli and think they go really well with Mitchell. Please don't let your hubby call the poor little boy Mitch Mitchell he'll get ribbed at school!

I love the name Max. I used to like Carter until I met a family recently who had a boy named Carter. I'm by no means a snob but they were such a chavvie family and the little boy was a little ratbag so just associate it with him, haha. Isn't it awful when nice names become horrible through association. I also love Miles xx

i wouldnt say Carter Mitchel would be a good name as it sounds like he would have two surnames but i love Ollie Mitchel that has a really nice ring to it. its your opinion that matters tho so just pic what you and your hubbie feel will suit your son. good luck :) i hope everything goes well for use xx
