Your babyhealth worries
Hi evryone I am new to this I have a 9 week old boy who was admitted to hospital 3 weeks ago with suspected menangitas he was treated for it and had to undergo lots of tests which luckily came back negative and we were advised could be viral or that it was treated wuickly. he was discharged and quickly picked up since then i just panic ovewr every little cough or if he cries i am turning into a nervous reck does anyone have any similar experiences saz xx
hi saz ur not alone
sounds like he had bronchialitis my daughter caught it at 4 months old and we were admittied like u for suspected meningococcal septicaemia as she had a rash on her legs that didnt fade
since then though ive found that she has become more susceptible to coughs and colds its even at the point where im more trusting in my network of friends than the health visitors as most are fresh out of college or other ones tbh how can i put it (think they know it all)
i usually go to my local childrens centre for health visit and imms but in future am going to just see the nurse at my gp centre
i know this was a big worry but i have to say im going to put my trust more in my instincts rather than going to see the hv's whom are text bk people and babies are far from that
