I had only just finished college when I fell pregnant but was in work for 6 months before my son was born so I was able to take 9 months maternity leave...the time I had off was amazing, time to bond with my baby and get to know each other. If you have the option of taking a year out then I would say go for it...uni will be waiting for you after :) Im aso going back into education in September and can imagine it will be hard work juggling a baby and college work so if you have the chance to have some relaxing (sort of!) time with your little one before going back to uni then make the most of it I say!
