Working mums & going back to work

better morning, but unhappy bosses lol

well i took today at my own pace, didn't do it slow, just didn't rush and spent the time in there they pay me to, i had 9 1hr morning calls to do and 6 dinners which are 20 mins each in 7 hours+ walking to next ones, i managed 6 morning calls and all the lunches as some are only medication, ended up calling manager and saying you will have to come out as its impossible to do them all, she said you have done it before, anyway i stuck to my guns and she came out. so hopefully things will calm down now, dylan didn't eat this morning when i was out :( came back and his mouth was so dry and he drank me dry he only had a yogurt from when he woke at 7 and i got back at 2 hope he eats tomorrow james said he was panicking this morning he wouldn't stop crying apparently and kept routing for breast. hope everyone is ok anyway xx

well done you for sticking to your guns! hopefully things will be better now!
as for dylan, it is going to take time for him to adjust. hopefully it wont take him too long to realise things have had to change and all will be well again. x

thank you amy. yes i have had a great day! i had a midwife appointment earlier and all is well there. i am back to measuring right for my dates, baby is doing well and midwife said, that although obviously she cant know for certain, she thinks my labour will go quite quickly this time given the amount of braxton hicks i'm having - she said my uterus seems to be very sensitive and that is a good sign for getting good strong, effective contractions during labour - once again, they struggled to examine me as it set contractions off as soon as they touched my stomach! i then had tea with my family, a lovely birthday cake and olivia hasnt stopped singing happy birthday all day! it's been great!

it makes you feel bad in a way, but i enjoyed my days at work, i knew olivia was ok and it was so nice to just get that bit of me back! it does make you appreciate the time you get together even more!

shelly sounds like you have had a lovely relaxed day and even better when you hear you may be having a shorter labor! aww bless olivia she sounds like a little sweetie
and yes i know what you mean, i feel bad for thinking it, but its nice to be me again and have some adult company, and i love caring for people ive missed it feel like me again now but im a mummy too. got some nice conversations now to talk about. i definitely appreciate the time i have with him luckily im not as busy on my tea calls so i get back in time to put him to bed xx
