HI THERE, MY LITTLE BOY IS 14 WEEKS LD AND I THINK IS READY FOR WEANING, HE IS GOING OF HIS MILK AND WATCHES ME WHEN I EAT, HE IS ALSO CHEWING EVERYTHING IN SITE AND NOT SLEEPING IN NIGHT. I WAS WONDERING HOW I START, DO I GIVE MILK FIRST OR FOOD AND HOW MUCH MILK SHOULD HE BE TAKING I'M SO CONFUSED.

My baby is 17 weeks old and we have just started weaning her, she started waking in the night and her little hands were always in her mouth. I started her off with a little baby rice, then gave her her milk. Some times she is so hungry that i give her some milk 1st then try her with some food, returning to the milk when shes had enough of trying the food. It all depends on how your baby feels on that particular day. Just try and do it when you are both relaxed. Lesley xx

If Roan was starving I would give him bottle first then once he had settled a ltille the rice then the end of the bottle. Otherdays he would have rice first and bottle after. Roan was 14 weeks when we started weaning him. He was on 3meals and 2 bottles by 5 1/2mths . Good luck
