hi try not to worry my 2 little boys were the same and after several times of trying the lumps i went back to puree some will say i should of carried on with lumps but it was so stressfull and not fair on the boys so i stayed on the puree untill they were about 13 months old and gave them toast rice cakes and bits of finger food untill they were could feed themselves properly my youngest is 19 months old now so ive passed the puree but as long as she eating start introducing finger food and she will be fine. all the best. x

I agree don't get stressed about this one hun. I did and lil ones pick up on your stress. I don't think my son ate lumps properly until he was maybe 10 months and then he still gagged so it was actually a lot later that he did it properly can't remember when tbh but he is 19 months now and has no problems with eating all sorts. I actually gave him some pots made by Plum organic and they had a little texture in them and he was fine with them so bit by bit i just made the food lumpier. Maybe keep it mashed but make it a thinner comsistency so its not too thick but every baby is different so just go with when she's ready. Good luck x
