baby wont eat veg

please can anyone give me advice on how to get my son to eat veg puree he loves fruit, cereal and baby yoghurts but won't eat veg from a jar or homemade, even if i mix fruit and veg together he knows. all the hv say that i have to offer a good variety and that he will develop a sweet tooth. i was thinking that maybe as he gets more into solids he will like it more as he is only 23 weeks and been weaning for 3 weeks

hiya my only advise would be to just keep trying him on the veg every couple of days,i have been weaning my baby about 6 weeks and at first she was the same loved pears but not the veg, have you tried him on sweet potato or butternut squash?my hv said the squask was sweet in taste so i tried her on it and she really liked it after a couple of weeks trying them she was fine,if you have tried and he wasnt keen i think you a right that the more he gets into solids he might like the veg more good luck jo x

As jomc says, give him the sweet veg, butternut squash, sweet potato, carrot,,this is basically all my son eats, he hates brocolli so now I make him chicken which I mix with boiled potatoe and the heinz ready made gravy and pulse that !
Hope that helps
