This is my first child so it is all new to me. I am hoping to travel to London for a weekend in January when my baby will be 6 months old. I am thinking of going by train and then using the tube to get around at the weekend. I am having a nightmare trying to think of what I will need to take. I want to take the least amount of baggage I can as I will be carrying this around. I am thinking of travel cot, pushchair, bottles, milk, food, juice, etc. Also how do I sterilse bottles in a hotel?
sterilising may be tricky if u want to take little baggage. u could use cold water sterilising, but even then u will need to take a bowl and a bottle of milton. u can buy ready sterilised, single use bottles, but i dont now how much they cost or whether they will really be any less bulky because u will need to take quite a few!
thanks for this have been looking on boots website and found some sterilising bags does anyone know if these are any good?
Hi There
Tescos also do Travel sterilisers - they look like a tupperware box that you can use in the microwave or with cold water and sterilising tablets - I dont have one though so not sure if they are any good!
find out from the hotel if they supply cots. Then you wouldn't have to take one
I bought some sterilising bags made by Lindam. You put 70 ml of water into the bag and pop it into the microwave for 3 minutes. The hotel we stayed at was more than happy to do this for me :-)
