Ready to feed 6m+ milk

We're going away for 5 days in september (son will be 10 months) We'll be staying in the travelodge and abit unsure what to do about his milk really, weather to bring the tub of powder or just buy the cartons of ready mixed, he has 1 or 2 9oz bottles a day, so would need to buy the 500ml carton of ready made milk, how is the unused milk in the carton stored so it can be used again or does it need to be chucked out if it isnt used straight away?

Hi, my son only had the cartons as he wouldn't take the powdered milk (awkward boy!) - will there be a fridge in the room? Once opened the ready made formula keeps in the fridge for up to 24 hours (well the cow&gate follow on milk was 24 hrs anyway), and you can just turn down the top of the carton and keep it in that, or you can put it into a sterilised bottle ready to heat up which is what I used to do after opening the carton in the morning I just split it between however many pre-sterilised bottles for the day :-))xx

yes ready made formula can be stored in the fridge for 24 hours. i assume you are using C&G milk which i see only comes in 200 and 500ml cartons? i only ask as SMA do 250ml cartons which i found incredibly convenient given it is one bottles worth! (my daughter was on SMA though)
