Hi hotlips, I've never been abroad while pregnant but this website has lots of good advice

Regarding the pineapple, I'm not too sure! I know people eat it in an effort to bring on labour but I would have though it was safe to eat - having said that I've just found a website that advises you don't eat it or papaya in pregnancy (scroll down near the bottom of the page) so I would check with your midwife to be sure or just avoid eating it completely.

Hope you have a fab time! :-))xx

I just got back from travelling to Abu Dhabi and Dubai for a week at 14weeks pregnant. just enjoy yourself and eat the foods that you enjoy, that is was i did. keep hydrated on water and fruit juices, and keep topped up on the sun lotion (heard skin is more sensitive during pregnancy) and make the air line aware that you are pregnant, for safety measures. me and my husband had a fab time and its our first child, had no regrets going away. have a lovely holiday before your baby arrives!! xxx
