I'm off to Fiji in February, by then my baby will be 8 months old, just wondering if anyone else has done a journey this long with their child and if so what it was like.
Thanks x
You are braver than me, I've cancelled our holiday for next year and told the hubby no holidays abroad till lo is at least 12 months. If we do go away it might be a week in butlins.
I personally have no experiance of this but my sister in law does, she took everything she would need (formular, bottles, clean clothes and nappies) that she new she would need and then packed the same again but halved it (ie if she was going through 8 bottles in 24 hours she would pack 12 to allow for any possible delays), she and her hubby took it in turns to amuse the lo, she said it was hard work but worth it for a fortnight in the sun and has been doing it twice a year since lo was 7 month old, now 3.
Im doing a 12 hour flight at the end of November with my LO. Im scared - but it should be ok. Just hope he doesnt scream all the way as its a night flight and you know what people are like when their sleep is interupted
