Meal Ideas???

Hi, i have a 21 month ols son and he is quite a fussy eater! I've tried todler ready made meals over and over again, but he just says "NO" The only thing he'll eat without any fuss is Jacket Potato, Cheese, Tuna, Mash & Carrot, so meal times are VERY limited! Can anyone suggest anything else to try. The poor boy can't just live and Potatos alone...lol

Hi, im not in your situation as i am only 33weeks pregnant with my first! My mum had the same problem though with my little sister (i am going back 13 years!!!) and all she would eat was cucumber sandwiches or pasta with Tuna, Mayo and cucumber!! My mum took her to the doctor as she was concerned as she wouldnt even attempt to eat or try anything else. Even her breakfast was sanwiches and if we were lucky she would have jam!! But the doctor said that she would get fed up of eating it before my mum got fed up of making it! She was like that until she hit about 4 (yes, even her xmas dinner was pasta!!!) and then she started eating jacket potato and cheese aswell! She is now 13 and will still only eat what she wants but is willing to try!! Apparently i would only ever eat ready brek!! (weird as i hate it now!!) and again doctor told my mum that i would be fed up eating it before she got fed up of making it and now i eat anything!!!
I wouldnt worry about it too much but if you are concerned go and see the doctor! HAve you tried mashing diffrent veg into his potato and things like that???

I have a 2 year old boy and we go through the same thing as you every day!! He either refuses to eat or only eats pasta and potatoes!
Ive found if i get him to help prepare his lunch, hes more willing to eat and if i make his food look exciting- he'll eat it.
His fave thing at the moment is mashed potatos with peas "hidden" inside with broccoli "trees" and a gravy "river"
Your son may be just like mine-lazy! Be patient but firm because you're the adult and you cant let him dictate what he will and wont eat. He wont starve,he'll eat when hes hungry and dont forget, his tummy is much smaller than yours and doesnt take as much to fill him up,so little and often is the best plan

my daughter is really fussy but i know that even tho im tired of giving her nothing but she will eat almost any vegetable and on a good day pasta.someime i have to almost disguise meat into her meals otherwise she would never eat it.i just try to be patient but shes sneaky and hides the meat under her legs.

hi all, my son is 20 months old and only eats junk food e.g. pizza, chips, potato waffles, chicken niggets etc, although he does enjoy cucumber apples and peas i was quite worried about him until quite a few people told me that he will eventually come to eat much more of a variety. i do put different meals infront of him but he just refuses. i think we all have to be patient.
