PLease Help Need advice

My daughter has attended nursery since she was 5 months old, but the nursery has changed the set up and way it is run and I am not happy with it, I dont think it is safe and dont feel my daughters needs are now being met. My daughter is still happy to go although was overwhelmed at first with the changes. She is now two and I just dont feel happy with things at all. I have looked at other nurseries and found one I really like and it comes very highly recommended, but ti is a lot smaller than were she is now and i am worried if I move her she will miss her friends and the large space. I am due to have another baby in Aug so dont want to leave the move untill much later as dont want to much upset for her all a once. Other wise may have waited longer to see if things got better were she is. Any advice would be apprecaited I jst getting myself worked up about it .

if you dont think it is safe and you dont like it, i would move her hun. it may be difficult at first but at her age she will most likely find other friends and gradually stop missing the old ones.(this sounds horrible but its true) ... otherwise whats stopping you keeping in touch with her friends at her current nursery and having them round to play etc, but still sending her to the new nursery? x x x

if you think your daughters safety is being put at risk i would move her, like the last post said she will make new friends and may even enjoy the new nursery more.

I have to agree with the ladies above, if her saftey is in doubt move her, it might well be difficult in the short term but she will make new friends and as laura said, if she has particular friends you could invite them round for play dates at your place sometimes or meet at a local park ect. Good luck xxxx

This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do I keep getting upset thinking that I putting her through this just for me.

Hello just thought i would update in case anyone going through what I did with nursery. My daughter has been at her new nursery for nearly 6 weeks now and I have to say although it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do it is the best decision I have made. I would never have said my daughter was un happy were she was but she is definatly happier at the new nursery, I guess my advice to anyone that finds them selves in a similar situation is to trust your instincts. Thanks again to all who left advice it really helped get me through.x x x
