Toddler talkKisses
:-)))
My little man has only just learned how to give kisses at 17 months - the open mouthed ones lol, I've been blackmailing him for kisses by taking his toys and he has to give a kiss to get them back (that sounds really mean but its taught him!).
Anyway yesterday he gave me a kiss without me asking for one or pinching one, he just turned and gave me one for the first time and it just melted my heart!
Moments like this make all the tough times worth it :-D
yay! this is so sweet. every now and then katie gives me a kiss of her own free will but usua;;y im pinning her down and stealing one or i take her norman (comfort blanet its a pink rabbit) and she has to kiss me to get it back lol i always blackmail her for kisses she thinks its a game but ineed my daily quota of kisses lol.
so gorgeous when they give one to u by themselves.i remember the first time katie said i love you so gorgeous. x
ooohh, y'no all those times you have bribed him for a kiss . . now is the time he learns to bribe you!!!!
Our LO thinks that a kiss allows him to get away with everything and lets him get his own way! For example, our LO likes to play with our mobiles but whe you are busy and can't watch to see if he is making calls we have to say no
SO
i'll say 'NO', LO will start to paddy,
his dad will come in and ask 'what's wrong?',
LO will walk over to him, give him a kiss (he even says 'mwah' whilst kissing), points at the phone and says 'that' . .
you can see that his dad wants to give him it but I have to give his dad the look ;p
OR,
you'll tell him off so he slaps you and then realises that was the wrong thing to do so quickly kisses you and tries to cuddle you!
awwwww
i ask sam for a kiss i get both hands on the cheeks nails and all and she bites my nose... but then she is just 7 months and a monster bless she so funny..
BUUUFFFFYYYYYY!!!!!!
MY LIL MAN SLEPT THROUGH LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!! :) . . lets hope he continues to do! :)
Maybe in 18 months time they are both sleeping through and I'll get a full nights sleep?! :)
Hi guys, I love this age so much! If only I could have skipped the first 12 months lol!
He gave daddy a kiss for first time today, so he's happy :-))
Lea YAAAYYYY!!!!! Fingers crossed! Typical that he'd do it when you've got a newborn who isn't sleeping! Anyway when they are teenagers we will be moaning that they are sleeping too much! xx
Yeah, we are loving this age with our LO as well! :)
I know but I am hoping he continues to sleep through coz I was feeding DD at 2am, she'd finish at 2.45 and then was going to do DS nappy change at 3am, DD would want another feed at 5am and then DS is up at 5.30- 6am so at least if he sleeps it will feel like I have slept a little more!
Oh, I have already told my 2 little darlings that when they are teenagers and wanting to sleep the day away, I will be going in their room and getting them up every couple of hours and they will be making me breakfast in bed for 5.30 am!!!!
x
Its just the best isn't it! I love the toddler stage, even with the tantrums!
Oh god sounds like a nightmare!
Ha I can't quite see that happening though can you!!!! even if you bribed them with no tv/xbox (399999 or whatever it will be by then lol) or money they'd still rather sleep!
Hows your little Hayley pops doing! xx
