Toddler talkHow can keep I my 14 month old warm at night ?
My daughter is 14 months and will not stay under her blankets at night , as a result she wake up during the night because she is cold . Especially now that winter is setting in ..
She will not sleep in a grow bag .. Has anybody got any suggestions how I can keep her warm at night . ?x
Hi my only suggestion was going to be a grobag, its the only way I can keep my son warm at night as he is a real wriggler. Other than that the only thing you could do would be to put extra layers of clothes on her so put an extra top on or something but even then she'd probably get cold depending on the room temperature - we tend to keep our heating on during the night to keep it at a certain temp in our sons room.
Or tuck the sheet and blankets really tightly under the mattress and hope that she couldn't kick them off!
Difficult when they are wriggly :-))xx
hi i was having real trouble with this with my 2yo. i tried grow bags but she hated them coz they restricted her feet. my M.I.L. found this thing in primark. its made from fleecy material so keep her v warm and is basically just like a baby grow but made from a blanket. i put my LO in a vest a babygrow and this blanket grow thing its worked a treat.
they r in the baby and toddler section at primark. never seen them anywhere else but im sure u can get them other places.
hope this helps x
how about a vest, and a babygro and the a bigger sized fleeced babygro or put some pajamas on top of the babygro? if not the try a gro bag, you can get them with sleeves aswell, does she sleep ok with a quilt as they are bigger and heavier than blankets so theres less chance of kicking it off xx
as the others have said - if a grobag doesnt work, then put another layer on, socks may help also. make sure the blankets she does have are tucked in tightly. the other thing is to have the heating come in in the night just to boost the temperature a bit.
