Teething

teething or hates next milk - help please

My little boy Thomas seems to have gone right off his milk 17 ozyesterday and so far today 15oz. I'm not sure if it's because I changed his milk to the follow on two weeks ago (his intake does seem to have dropped off) or whether he is off coz of teething. Help! He lost 18oz within 9 days after he was born and I'm beginning to feel a little nuts again. Someone please tell me this is normal before I end up being sectioned. I feel so useless not knowing what to do. I know he is a lazy eater but I'm really dreading every time I know he should be feeding.

Perservere hun, it might be that he's getting used to different milk, he may be slow at getting used to change, how old is he? is he old enough to try solids yet, it could be that if he's old enough, when they teeth they can go off milk so i think you need to give it a few days and see how it goes, if you have to much of a problem with him i'd ring your health visitor can get advice from them, xxxx

I just read your comment on my post and forgot to say that when weaning your baby is still supposed to take between 18 and 28 oz so Thomas isn't far off. How about trying other dairy things like yoghurt to try and get him interested?
