hun reading this is like i"ve written it my baby girl is 12 weeks and 2 days and is very clammy iritable , if she could fit both hands in her mouth she would sucks on em like crazy, she is also off her food has between 18-22 oz a day and like yrs is a tall baby, are yr boys gums hardening and turning white this is a sign of teething(so am told) i bought today teething bonjela and calpol, after she sucked on her teething ring for a bit was still really irritable so gave her 2.5 of calpol and it really settled her brought her temp down and she had a little nap too (she only has about an hr all day as sleeps through the night) when she woke up was smiling and playing again and didnt get irritable when trying to give her her bottle xxxx

Christopher now 4 months & has cut 3 teeth & i can honestly say like Kaz i could've written what you have! My little cherub keeps turning into a monster :-) when things are bad I use dentinox teething gel / powders & when he's clammy calpol to bring his temperature down. when he goes off his food i reduce his bottles down to 6oz and try to get in an extra one through the day. he stops sleeping through & is very restless during the night :-(

Thanx guys - will try that . He's been little better last few days thankfully. Weird thing is he wants to bite on the back of his gums mostly and on the left I can see a small whitish protusion but think i must be imagining lol. Will keep an eye on it!
