around 6 weeks! but no teeth till she was 6 months! and the two bottom ones were first to come on xmas day!!!! yay
they can start teething earlier than that and even be born with teeth!
not all babies suffer runny nappies but most suffer runny nappys just before the teeth break through
hope this helps

hi my LO started teething at 6 weeks all the signs were there but dr's won't say its teething! he's now 15 weeks and still no teeth -very frustrating! all the agro for him and nothing to show for it! bless him it really distresses him i just hope one comes thru soon! just prepare urself it can be a long wait! i think some babies feel it much earlier than others ,i found it really difficult to help soothe him as all the teethers were too big all i could do was use teething gels and let him chew on anything! usually my finger ior a clean muslin!good luck!!

My son started teething at 6 weeks and his 2 bottom teeth broke through at the same time when he was 6 months. His 2 top teeth are showing through his gums now so hopefully they wont be long in breaking through

I have 2 boys. Olivier is almost 3 and he started teething at 8 weeks and his first bottom
teeth came out when he was 8 and half months. I didn't breastfeed him. On the other hand Leonardo is 16 months and he first 2 bottom broke through when he was 6 months. I did breastfeed him till he was 9 months old.

my little man is 16 weeks and had been dribbling and chewing his fingers and fists for a few weeks now. only this last week tho i think its started 2 hurt. he has a new cry which is different from his scream an his usual whingy cry, an his cheeks get very rosy red.gave him a spoon of calpol this afternoon which settled him after a while. have heard a lot of mums on here mention ashton and arsons herbal powder which i will try as have only read good reviews of it. good luck with all your teething babies! xx

my lttle one is 12 weeks tomorrow and she is showing signs of teething and has been for the last few weeks. you can see an outline of a tooth in her gums. she has had runny nappies but also has her second cold! not sure whats worse! i was going to check with the doctor if she was teething but by the sounds of it - from what has been written already - this could be the start and will take some time to happen. i will prepare myself!
