hi i have been looking up my baby medical handbook. my baby is trhe same age. you should consult a doctor immeditely if your baby has fever or vomiting as well or if the stoold are greasey or contain mucus or blood. your baby should be drinking 3oz of liquid per pound of body weight in 24hrs while she has diarrheo. so if she is not interesred in milk. start gicing her water or water with well diuted juice it doesnt say anything in book about your babies head so i would definitely get emergency appointment at the doctors tomorrow. hope she gets better soon. if you are bottle feeding baby i would personnally only use cartons to see if there is an improvement. just in case there is a water problem

Hiya, if your baby is not her normal self, i would take her to see the GP asap, as its very very easy for babies to become dehydrated. The things you need to look out for are, drowsiness, dry mouth and lips, sunken fontanelle and baby generally not being themselves. In the meantime, you can buy some rehydration sachets from boots called dioralyte-ask the pharmacist but you can give then to young babies, or just keep trying to get her to have as much water as possible. As for what has caused the diarrheoa it could be a million and one things, including her teeth. My daughter had diarrheoa a few weeks ago and even tho she was still eating and was fine in herself, it is still a worrying time for you and i know totally how you feel.
Let us know how she is xxx
