Hi, some babies are just small and it's not a cause for concern at all. I would be guided by your hv and if she isn't worried you should probably keep your daughter's milk the same. If she's been small all along then it might be just the way she's meant to be. x

i wouldnt worry. like pamjm said, if your HV isnt concerned then u shouldnt be. especially if a paediatrician has said everything is fine. it is not how much she weighs, it is whether she has weight gain. i really dont think u should worry.

my daughter is 10 months and weighs 21lbs, my niece is 18 months and weighs 21lbs and is as thin as a rake, but is healthy! its interesting really as she was the biggest at birth out of my daughter and my sister's two daughters - my sister's first (now almost 3 yrs) was prem and weighed 4lb 10oz. the niece i mention above weighed 7lb 5oz and my daughter was 6lb 1oz. it has all changed as they have got older! all babies are different.

your daughter is clearly just going to be small - u never know she may suddenly gain a lot of weight as a toddler. x

hi my baby is the same, my gp told me to make his milk more concentrated. eg... instead of 1 scoop to every ounce of water. 4 scoops to every 100mls. eg... 4 scoops to 100mls, 5 scoops to 125mls, 6 scoops to 150mls etc... this is making him hav more calories.
