my baby will only sleep on her front.

hi my baby is 8 weeks old and since she was two weeks old will only sleep on her front. She just will not sleep on her back she will cry on then just frantically screams, as soon as i put her on her front she goes straight to sleep. Im beside myself with worry, as we are advised not to do this due to the awful word cot-d****h. She has suffered with colic and is on gripe water which is helping. but she so used to sleeping on her front she wont have it any other way. As im on my own i often give in so i can get some sleep too. Can any 1 plz give me any advice to change this,,,

Both my daughter were the same i bought a mat that goes under the baby that an alarm goes off he no movement is felt 2 keep me at ease i no dr etc don't like it but i baby knows how it wants 2 sleep & cot death accurs even if babies lie on there back

We also had this problem with our little one. He is now 5 months old but from about 4 weeks he would not settle on his back only on his front. We invested in the baby monitors that detect movement and found that helped us to relax a bit more.

thank you so much, ive never heard of these movement monitors, i'll be looking for one straight away. and hopefully get some worry free sleep x
