How and when do I switch from comfort milk

My baby has been on comfort milk since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 17 weeks. Anyone know if I should keep her on it or switch, any advice or experiences of comfort milk??

a lot of the problems which are solved by comfort milk ease when the baby is weaning in any event. i think they are ok on comfort milk until 1yr old, but when you wean it wouldnt hurt to switch back to stage 1 milk and see what happens. you could always go back to it if necessary (just dont change back and forth too much)

my daughter was on comfort milk from 4 wks! At 23 wks I took her off it and put her back on normal milk (stage 1)! After 3 bottles she was very poorly, tummy bloated and distended, screaming in pain, I promptly put her back to comfort! She is now 5 and at 3 yrs old, we found out she cannot not digest sugars, and has certain food intolerences, which the stage 1 and follow on milks contained! be cautious, and just try a small carton before buying a tub! If she has any further problems, don't leave taking her to the gp! As I said it took almost 3 years for our drs to realise something deeper was wrong, and that she wasn't just being 'fussy'! good luck
