Sleeping on his tummy

How do i stop my 6 month old from sleeping on his tummy. I am so worried. I have a monitor that detects his breathing, but i'm still worried about him. I had to take his bumper off as he used to put his face in it.. Do i turn him all night? which disturbs him.. I had to feed him at 4 this morning cos i woke him by turning him.. Or should i just let him sleep how he wants to sleep, once i've put him on his back. Advice please..

I think that most babies sleep on their front once they learn to roll over. And as you've found out, you only disturb them by rolling them back to their backs, and they soon roll back to their front anyway. As long as he is able to roll back to his back should he want to , you are best to leave himm to sleep how he is comfortable.

hi hun, my 4 all slept on their tummys at a very early age i know its not reccomended,
but they slept much better, sleeping through from 4 weeks.
your son sounds happy sleeping on his front, so i would leave him.
