SleepingPLEASE HELP ROOM TEMPERATURE!!!
Hi could anyone please help what temerature is your babys room as i cannot get my room to go below 22c and im really concerned i keep the window wide open all day but it doesnt seem to make any difference to the temerature is anyone eles having the same problem. Thanks
HI, I keep my babys room around 21c , if i put the heater any lower it jumps to 18c and i feel that is too cold when i go in in the middle of the night, so it averages around 21 - 22c and my little girl then just sleeps in her sleeping bag in the cot, she also sleeps longer at this temp than when at 18c as i guess the cold wakes her.
Hope this helps xx
I ended up with 2 room thermometers that were 3 degrees different so I decided to use my own judgement and just make sure my son had an extra layer to what I had on. If your room is 22 degrees then just dress him in fewer layers if he seems too hot. I use a sleeping bag too and apparently its hard for babies to overheat in them cause their head and arms are always outside it.

up until recently my little girl was in a sleeping bag and with the way my house is positioned it is virtually impossible to get temp down below 21 but i keep m daughters layers light and few and she sleeps for around 10 hours a night with no problems.
i suppose if its disturbing your LO sleep its a problem but if its not and your LO isnt getting too hot whilst asleep you should be ok.
Ideal temperature is supposed to be between 16 and 20 degrees but my house is very warm even with the windows wide open and doesn't go below 21. I invested in a sleeping bag and find them fab. Just be aware of the tog rating, like duvets. 1.0 tog is warm enough at 20+ degrees.
