Sleeping17 weeks and still waking up!
Hi, my little boy is 17wks on Thursday and until he was 10 weeks he slept really well, but then he got his 1st set of injections and has been waking up every 2-3 hrs ever since! We haven tried everything from controlled crying, altering bed times, and cramming feeds during the day, ive also tried hungry baby formula ( he was exclusively breast fed until he was 15 weeks) but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated!! Thanks, Heather x
it is normal for injections to unsettle them. i am afraid waking in the night is to be expected until he feels settled enough to sleep through again. if he is hungry thenn feed him as at 4 months they have a growth spurt. controlled crying shouldnt really be used on a baby less than 6 months old as it can actually make them feel insecure and make sleeping worse.
