BABY MODELLING

hey everyone im mum to my beautiful girls zara and zafirah who are 13months....

I have been interested in getting them involved in modelling for sooo long now but cnt seem to find a good agency as I have been told not to trust the ones who ask for money upfront and as i have twins i would be paying double lol

Does anyone know of or use a good trustworthy child agency???

how strange is this..i have been on the phone all day today trying to get my boys into modeling and i have found one called bizzykids the website is http://www.bizzykidz.com/ they seem to be the only ones that deal with all the best companys and from what i can make out they are 100% up together, there is a fee of _140 to pay but this is to have your child on there books until they are 14 and they will only add you if they think your child has a chance of work unlike most that want silly amounts of money every year to keep you on there books with little or no chance of getting anything..
there is also http://albamodel.info/ that give you a list of agencies plus name and shame the scams and give some great advice on what to look for and what to avoid,i have filled in the online application for bizzykids today as i also spoke to them on the phone and they even told me about things to avoid which was in line with what was on alba model...
hope this helps all..

my baby got taken on by an agency called babyshak, they say on the website there are quite choosy on who they take, it is a _90 one off fee to set up there online portfolio, however after i googled baby model agencies it all seems like a abit of a scam, it seems agencies take on anybody as long as you are willing to pay the fee, and your baby might not even get any work, apparently agancies that ask for money are a rip off and the top reputable ones dont charge a penny. if my little one gets any modelling work i will let you know.xxx

i was told that babyshak is part of bizzykids??? how long has your little one been on there books xx

only for 2 weks so far, i paid the 90 pound as its only a one off fee, they dont tell you untill after you pay that your baby needs a certfificate of health every 6 months from the doctors and you have to pay your doctor for it, i had a look on the alba model info website and at least they are not one of the bad ones, how old are your boys? did you sign them up with bizzykids? ive heard the are good aswell.

i got the fee wrong for bizzykids its only _120 and not _140 and its untill they are 17 not 14,i had to go through these as babyshak do not take on 4 and above but when i spoke to babyshak they said they are linked or with bizzykids anyway...
i filled in the online app for my 3 aged 9 months,20 months and 4 all boys and they have got back to me today to take my 4 year old on there books and looking through there agreement it does not say anything about medicals but this might be something they leave until the last minute but to be honest with you i dont mind paying it every 6 months because it gives me piece of mind that he is ok to travel etc...
i have 28 days to pay the fee which i think is fare as with 3 boys it is hard but shoul hopefully pay that next week..
my msn is nicholacole1@hotmail.co.uk if you would like to keep in touch about this xx

Please please dont waste your money on BABYSHAK, they are a complete SCAM!!! They say you only have to pay _90 but once you have paid it they then tell you you need a doctors letter every 6 months which cost me _25 and will soon need updating. Then you get told that unless you have professional black and white photos taken by their chosen photographer, your baby will not go into the "Look Book" which is what their clients look through to find baby models for photography work. You will only go into the general website which the clients wanting babies for commercials etc look. I already had proffesional black and white prints of my son but they said I would need to get them done by their photographer at a huge cost, they didnt even look at my ones. I have not heard a thing from them since I joined in July apart from the occassional newsletters which only seem to contain rude comments about parents not updating their children's details enough and generally telling the parent's off for various things. I am not suprised that I havnt heard anything as I refused to pay for photos to go into the "Look Book". You will not get told any of this before joinging so please dont do it, its really not worth it!

hi katie80, my little man has been registered with babyshak for about 3 months now and no we havnt heard a thing, i paid the _90, luckily my doctor only charged me _5 to sign the letter of health, ive had 2 emails about going in the look book, but you have to go there to kent which is about 200 mile away from where i live, last week i had an email to go to an event which was _150 to learn techniques and poise and posture training! my son is 11 months old how can he have poise and posture training for god sake!! if he happens to get any work i will let you know but im not holding my breath, the only plus is they are part of bizzykids which is suppose to be one of the best baby modelling agency's.

I use Eurokids for my son who is 7mths old. He has had plenty of work with them and they pay 30 pound an hour. They charge 120 to go on there books but it is only till they are 2yrs old.
