hi sweety sorry mine is a bad story i was on the inplant and my current pregentcy happened while i was still on it i had it in for 9 months then found out i was pregent and had it taken out. good luck with what ever you decide to do

IHiyaa, I had the implant for a year and a half before I got it took out due to spotting, for the first year I had no problems - no periods and no pains. I then started spotting only slightly and it was dark brown blood every few weeks, my friends who also had the implant experiance simular things after the first year. Three weeks after having it taking out I had my first proper period from when Id had the implant in, two moths later I fell pregnant - I have also heard many cases were woman say it takes them up to a year to fall pregnant after the implant has been taking out so I feel lucky!

Its a good thing to have if you forget to take tablets like me and like having no peridos but be carefull after the year. x

hi, i had the implant fitted a month ago today, ive had no problems apart from itching for about a week after it was put in, i put that down to it healing though. i read bad things about it to. but touch wood ive been fine on it.xx
