Hi i have birth 13 weeks ago and still havent had a period, is this normal?? i was breast feeding up till 10 weeks but dont know if that would effect them or not. Doctor has given me the pill to start taking but i cant take it till the first day of my period. Cant ask my hv cause i never see her plus she makes me feel like a clown sometimes
My little girl is nearly 21 weeks old and i've only had 1 period since she was born,which was at the end of April.Since she was a week old i've only been breastfeeding twice a day,and apparently the hormones in your body when breastfeeding can cause periods to stop for a while.I don't know how long it takes for them to start again,I think it varies for everyone.Hope this helps.
