an easy mistake to make - that is not good enough, they should not be making that kind of mistake. you trust your dr to look after you and for them to do that is dreadful. i dont know what else you can do now though

Hi Steph, thats awful i cant believe they are so ignorant about the situation.
cant you write to the local health trust, i dont know what its called, but for instance we live in leicestershire so if my surgery didnt give me a satisfactory answer i would write to leciester health trust as they over see the leicestershire area and its gp's, i dont know what else to say other than that, sorry hun xx

Hi Steph I def think if your not satisfied with the dr responce, which I wouldn't be, that you write a letter of complain to your trust they cannot brush a mistake like that under the carpet. Did the Dr say they spoken to the nurse about it or just left it as it was? I think that's disgusting behaviour from your GP, you're meant ot rust these people with your health and life! Hope you get some where with it xx

Its the primary care trust babe then if you need to go further its parkindmtapw and health service ombudsmen on 03450154033 he is independamt from the health service. There is also icas who can help you through the complaint google them as their contact number vary depending on where you live xx good luck xx
