Losing a babyPlease help...
My name is Amanda and i am attached to an online support forum www.lifeafterloss.org.uk/forum The site is for anyone who has lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy from miscarriage right through to neo-natal loss. I lost my son, Lewis through a late miscarriage in September 2005. I am currently backing a petition started by a very good online friend of mine, could you please spare a few minutes to sign the petition http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Stillborn-Rights/ Its obviously a cause very close to my heart and i would be eternally grateful if just one person took the time to sign it.
Thank you for reading this

PS..I am unsure of how to make the link work 'properly' please copy and paste it

hi there,i will sign your petition if i can find it as its also a subject that is close to my heart as i have lost 4 babies through misscarage at different stages,i had loads of tests to find out if there is a reason but nothing was ever found and i was sent away but there was nothing there to help me with the emotional side of thing as i would of loved somone to talk to who was not emotionaly involved with me or the babies i lost,my partner and family were fabulous but they were hurting to,i have often thought myself i wish i could do somthing to help women who are going through the same as what i went through but i would not no where to start and also i have no medical qualifications only personal experience, but luckly now i have 2 boys who are happy and healthy so there is light at the end of a very long lonley tunnel,so i will be very happy to sign.
Thank you soooooo much, it means the world to me,it really does.
I know what you mean about wanting to help women, i did/do too, i joined the support forum partly for myself but mostly to try and help others. I want people to know that things do get easier, you never fully get over losing a baby or babies nor do you forget them but things do get easier, and you can learn to smile again. In the early days its hard to even contemplate some of these things. I just wanted to crawl into bed and never get out of it. But with the help of some friends i met online, ive learned thats it is ok to be happy again, i hope the friends ive made through losing my son will stay with me for life.
Thanks again
Amanda x
hi again,i would love to do somthing to help women like you and me who have had sad experiences and to help them realise that time is a healer and you will learn to smile again but you will never forget and you will always wonder why as often there is no reason for a lose, sending you lots of love and keep up the good work that you and your friend are doing.xxxxxxxxxxxx
