Hi im a new mum and my daughter decided to come 2 weeks early on 04/04/07 which was a lovely supprise. She is now 3 weeks old. I am from Gillingham in Kent and would love to chat to any mum's to get some good advise. I can't get my daughter to feed more than an ounce during the night, she can drink up to 4 oz in the day. Am i doing something wrong?
Hi. I'm shell. I think maybe she's just too tired during the night. It might be that she just wants comfort and a cuddle more than anything. I wouldn't worry as long as she's taking enough during the day. If she was really hungry at night i'm sure she'd take it, so it doesn't sound to me like you are doing anything wrong at all. Just keep offering it to her and she may surprise you one time by drinking it all. I have 2 boys and my eldest starting going through the night without a feed at around 3 months and he was fine. Hope this helps.
