Feeding problems and questions

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Hello every onehow are you all. my son is 8 months old and he dont eat well he aint eating is solids but he is fine with eating desserts. am getting concerned as i dont want him too get dependent on sweet stuff. if anyone has any advice would be great too hear from you... thanks

have u tried givin him a spoon full of dinner followed by a spoon full of desert and so on thats wot my friend got told to try and it worked for her

Yeah i agree with Claire above, try offering alternative spoons, also just keep perservering i think they all go through the sweet suff only phase my Hannah did, we just left it alone for a couple of weeks then reintroduced it and she eventually took it and eats most things now xxx

Hi,
Is it just that he prefers the sweet stuff ? If so give him butternut squash, or sweep potato or carrot,,they are all sweet too but good for him. My LO is the same, he would just eat desserts if I let him so most of his main meals are mixed with the sweet veg and he wolfs them down !

hi hun
try mixing sweet fruit and veg together ive heard some nice recipes, worth a go
my mum used to put diner on spoon then just a tiny bit of dessert on end of spoon
so they think they are getting pudding but actually get both! sometimes you have to be
devious!!!! ha ha and as joanna says try sweet veg always a winner
