General baby healthwont take milk and solids
Hi everyone,
my 6 month old daughetr is usualy a great eater, shes on solids and 4 bottles a day but last few days she wont take any milk, and she will eat some yogurt but has been sick after not alot but shes also had abit of diahorea, she has not got a temp or crying or lethargic, shes still very active and smiling and playing, im just confused why she wont eat and getting abit worried, advice needed please

Hi Rebecca, could she be teething? That can put them off eating and drinking, it can also make them a bit sicky and runny poos because of the excess saliva. Try using nelsons teetha powders and rubbing some teething gel on her gums 15mins before a feed and see if that helps. If it's not teething then she may just be off colour or coming down with a cold - there are so many bugs going round at this time of year. Hopefully she will get her appetite back soon! :-))xx
hi somtimes from previous experience when my little one has been ill with sickness an dioraea he doesnt want to eat. i was advised just to keep fluids up and give him dirolite. ask doc first tho. he went 4days with nothing to eat he wouldnt physically eat anything.xx
