Hello My baby boy is now 5 weeks old and for the last three weeks he has been having trouble pooing. he was put on some medication called lactulose but health visitor told me to take him off it as he didnt need it after a week. he is till straining as if he's trying to poo but cant manage to actually do it. i have since taken him back to the doctors and he has been put back on the medication and have been told he should be on it for at least a month if not longer.

if annyone has any other advise on what could help my little munch please comment.
