Childcarewet nappies leekin in the nite
hi every1, i have a 3 and a half month old girl who is sleepin all though the night , but the trouble is she goes down at 7pm, i go in and change her at about 1am she goes back to sleep and so do i, but at 6am when we get up she is wet though nappy, babygrow and gro bag and on to her sheet, i dont want to be going in and changing her to much in the night and disturbing her, wot could help? i have thought about little waterproof knickers over her nappy but dont want her to be uncomfortable,x
hey what brand do u use? i found pampers r crap they leak everytime iv used them i use lidls own or tescos own and my lil girl gets her nappy put on about 6.30pm and she only has her nappy changed at 8am and no leaks. maybe try these?
xx
Heya, I found the same thing with pampers, my daughter only used them a couple of times as everytime leeked. We always used huggies with her until she got tom a certain age and again for no reason started leeking through the night so we changed to sainsburys own brand and had no problem since. It seems the cheeper the better sometimes. Also the size can effect it, two big can be just as bad as two small. My daughter went up to 5+ weight wise but leeked so we changed back to size 4 and she was fine so maybe going down a size (or two) might help??
hi, ive had the opposite expereinece to you guys, ive always used pampers but the baby dry ones and only just finding that they are leaking now my lo is 2 1/2 and he drinks gallons. x
i have always found that pampers leaked as well - i have always used tesco or sainsbury own nappies on both of my children with no problems. dd2 is 8 weeks old and sleeps from 8.30pm until 6am with no leaks - the same with dd1 when she was younger (now 4yrs old).
thanx 4 all your advice, yes i ve bin usin pampers so will change to a cheeper brand and c if that works, got up twice last nite and had to change her, no leaks but if i hadnt changed her there wod of bin,so shes sleepin fine but im gettin up and then cant get back to sleep, will give it a go, thank u.xx
I've had that problem with both pampers and huggies but find that the asda little angel range r excellent damian can go from 11 at night till 8 the next morning (ocassionally till 10) without a nappy change n there's no leaks n no sore bum either.
I agree with evryone! Pampers are useless. Asdas own have never let me down :) would defo recommend to evryone!! :) x
Hi - I have a 5 week old boy, and although he definately doesn't sleep through yet, we have managed about 6 hours at a time but I have the same problem as you. I hate changing him when he has wet himself as he's woken up being handled and from the cold!
I read in a parenting magazine that Tescos and Lidl's own brands were great and recently tried Tescos as I had been using Pampers which are a terrible fit and constantly leaking. The tesco's ones were brilliant - plus _3.70 for 44 so really good value.
We haven't had any accidents since, though still haven't had a full nights sleep lol!! xx
