Hi
I posted a question on this a while ago ref spouts. I think I must have bought virtually every one going. My youngest absolutely refused to have anything to do with a spout, he's nearly 10 mths now. But there has been a slight development. He will take the tesco spout. They are little cups and only cost #1.47 compared to the price of the others I'm really impressed with him. Needless to say the rest sit in the cupboard waiting for him to give in! I had to let him play with it and it's not the best cup in the world as its prone to leaking but it's a step in the right direction! Good luck x

ozzy didn't take well to a beaker either, he's now 8months and drinks from a cup!

i found if i took the lid off the beaker he would happily drink the contents!

another cow and gate mom suggested usin a shot glass which also worked well,

and i also bought a 'doidy cup' which is slanted so they can see the contents and he will happily drink from that.

well for my little one, so it's worth giving it a go!

I still need to help ozzy when he drinks straight from the cup, otherwise he'd give himself a bath! But at least he's getting used to the idea and there's been no teats or spouts involved!

i work in a nursery and we use tommy tipee feeder cups from boots or asda.(they are completely plastic with 2 handles and a hard sput that folds down.) all of the babys at nursery have there own cup and they re all happy to drink from them. there is a very dodgy beaker by tommie tipee that the child has to bite on and suck at the same time my nephews had these and found them imposible to drink from as they couldnt do both at the same time.
avent magic cups are prety good too u can get them from superdrug and boots. just keep offering your baby the beaker evry now and then. or let baby play with beaker.
my mum adopted a baby boy last yr and she found that if she put a juice he didnt like in his juice bottle and a juice he like in the beaker that he eventually went to the beaker. this i think is a great idea a bit of reverse phycology never hurt anyone! give it a whilrl and let us know how you et on
good luck

Hi,
We use the Tommee Tippee cups with the fold down spout and also the free flow cup given to us by the health visitor. My daughter who is now 16 months will drink juice quite happily from the cup but since i started putting her bedtime milk in the cup she wil not drink it, maybe has a couple of sips and that is it....my first daughter went off milk at bedtime in a cup for a while but then started drinking a full cup so i am persevering and hoping that one day she will start drinking her milk again!
