Bottlefeeding

Please Please Please help bottle issues!!!!

Hi there
Can anyone help me im really confused after swapping to cow and gate follow on milk ive noticed that when you fill up your babies bottles with boiled water you have to leave it for no longer than 30 mins before filling the bottles i done that last night and the bottles were really hot is it ok to leave 1 hour instead. hiya i did the swap about a week ago, what it says on the tub is when you boil the kettle leave the kettle to cool for 30 mins before putting it in the bottle, you could always get in touch with cow and gate and ask them though to put your mind at ease, when my midwife visited me after i had just got back from the hospital she told me that it was much easier for me to make up 5 bottles with the water and just leave them on the top and then give 2 baby when needed just add the formula,so i have always given her room temperature milk, when i was changing i asked my hv and she said just do what i normally do,i just give a warm bottle at the last feed before jess goes to bed, unless i have read your question wrong i think you have got the wrong end of the stick about what is says on the tub, hope you get on alright with it have you tried the good night milk was wondering if it was any good and worth buying jo x

good night milk is wonderful stuff - my baby sleeps all through the night thanks to this stuff and loads of other women on the forum agree

you can leave it for an hour if you want.

i normally boil the kettle leave 30 mins. add the formula and the water into the bottle and then leave for another 30mins and then feed to my baby. it is then at the correct temperature. so i dont have to stick it in a jug of water or anything
