Baby development and behavioursitting up
what age does a baby start sittin up? xx
Hi Steph how are you both doing? The average age is 6 months but some do it earlier and some a lot later. My daughter was sitting unaided at 6 months but my little lazy man wasn't even trying until 7 months and then didn't sit completely unaided until 10 months! xxx
yes, it does differ which baby. my son sat unaided at 7 months.
*with each baby
I can't remember how old my son was when he could get to the sitting position by himself but from about 4 months old I would sit him up and spread his legs in a 'v' (to aide his stability) and he would play like that quite happily . . I just had to make sure there were plenty of cushions around him and I sat in front because he used to get too excited and fall over
we r ok thanks. kian has got more antibiotics. he sat 2day 4 a few seconds xxxx
i tried dat wi kian 2day nd he loved it xx
Glad he's got more medicine. Paige is 7 months and can't sit on her own yet. Iv got her a bumbo to help her at. Im not too worried really. Hope your both ok x
My son is 7 months old and he can't sit up on his own yet. He has a bumbo, and even with that he tends to fall forward after a short while.
