Hiya hun, my lo isnt crawling yet and shes 8mths on tues. Shes sitting up but only the last two weeks and still with pillows around her. You couldnt leave her unaided just yet. Don't listen to anyone!! I have the same problem with my sister in law. Her son is 13weeks older than my daughter and grrrr she drives me mad!!! Is she not eating lumps yet? (which now she is) and omg is she not even sitting up yet, my lo was sat up from birth!!!! grrrr she makes me mad that i have to try my hardest to ignore her!!! What is it with people....so dont worry hun, she'll crawl when shes ready. Try rollover on the bed, my lo loves that, helps her to enjoy being on her front and hearing the giggles is good fun too. Is she sitting up yet? Once they're confident in sitting on their own they'll move onto new things like crawling

dont worry about it. they all do things at different times, there is no right or wrong and u can't make them do it. dont forget if babies are born prematurely they do things are different times and in my experience (my sister's eldest was born prematurely) HVs dont put pressure on them to have done things by certain ages like they do children born at term or late.

my daughter is 8 months on sunday. she sat at 6 months if i put her in a sitting but she still can't get herself into a sitting position on her own. she is just starting to pull herself along on her forearms and attempting to get her legs underneath her to crawl. my partner's mum has told me that one of her children didn't walk until 14 or 15 months. whereas my cousins child was pulling himself up on furniture at 7 1/2 months.

Hi. My son is 7 months and I gets the same comments 'Is he crawling yet?'. No he isn't. He's getting better on his tummy. He can roll from his back to his tummy and sometimes onto his back again, but tends to whinge a lot first. I just leave him unless he cries or else he'd never learn. It sounds cruel now I've written it down but often he'll whinge a bit then do it and he's so pleased with himself when he does! he's starting to shuffle backwards on his tummy too, but again only afetr he's whinged a bit. He can sit up quite well but still needs cushions either side but he's getting there. He'll do everything at his own pace. He still has no teeth either. When did yours get their first tooth? x

My LO (7and half months) got her first bottom tooth about two weeks ago and three days ago the one next to it popped through! it looks sooooo cute even when she is screaming the house down i just go awwww look at her teeth!
but i know it can happen any time my dad was born with a tooth!

Im still waiting for lo to have her first tooth!! Its taking ages!! Shes constantly pressing on her gums and chews on anything....but shes been like that since 4mths now....who knows ey! I wish people would stop asking and looking shocked when i say no!!! Grrrr!! lol

Hey girls. Well my LO is nearly 8 months and no she isnt crawling either. A random woman in the park asked me how old she was and I told her and she said oh is she crawling yet and I had to say no. It made me feel worried, like my daughter isnt developing when she should be. But reading these posts I'm reassured. I guess they will do it when they are ready. My LO isnt sitting without cushions yet either

everytime my mother in law sees my daughter she checks her mouth for teeth! my daughter is 8 months and i didn't get teeth until i was 14 months but my partner got his first tooth at 8 months so she thinks every baby gets them at the same age!

my little boy didnt crawl at all really he sat up at 8 month and was walkin at 10 and a half month with a bit of bum shuffling inbetween xx

my lo is 9 months on the 24th! and ISNT crawling i think they jus do it wen they want to she again hates it on her stomach i always end up jus sitting her back up as she jus cries!!!!

Dont worry, my lil one didnt crawl until she was 12 months she was the last one to crawl amongst her friends so i worried but she did it all in her own time & quickly too she learnt to crawl in a week !!! now everyone keeps asking me if shes walking (shes 16 months now) & no shes not but has started to take her first few steps so I know she will get there in her own little time, again thou she's the last one to walk. take care xxx
