Hi my LO is 14 weeks and from about 8 weeks we've tried to give her at least 1 min of tummy time a day but she just gets upset which is heart breaking but I'm worried that her head support is not as good as it should be. When I pick her up she'll hold her head up but she's not steady and just wobbles a lot. Is their anything I can do or try that's not going to stress her out or do I just continue with the tummy time on her play mat?
dont worry at that age it will wobble a lot. she isnt meant to be able to control it yet. my eldest HATED with a passion any tummy time. at 14 weeks their head is not controllable, it is about 6 months when they gain proper control over it. my daughter's head control never suffered as she got older she sat up more - i sat with her propped up against me and she gained it that way. she's now 4yrsold.
my second baby turns 10 weeks old tomorrow and again, is not at all keen on it. she'll tolerate it for a minute or two and then cries. again though, it isnt a problem.
honestly dont worry, she sounds like she is doing fine as she is.
