Hi, ever since my daughter has been old enough to lift her head she has constanly bangs it. When she was young it was all the time, then when she started getting more independant it was a tantrum thing and now she does it on her bed for ages both before she goes to sleep and when she wakes up. I thought it was a phase she would grow out of but shes 21 months now and its getting worse. Shes understands when you tell her she shouldnt do things so ive tried going into her room when she does it and telling her no and putting her back on her pillow but before I can even leave the room shes turned over and started again. She will just continue till she falls asleep so the more I go in the more I disturb her and the longer she does it so I feel like thats a bit of a losing battle. But its getting beyond a joke now she wakes our neighbours up its that loud, honestly words could not decribe how loud it is I dont even know how its possible!!!
