Hi, My 14months old little girl has been on cow and gate 1+ milk for a couple of months now and loves it. Recently tried putting her onto cows milk and she got really wingy, really sore bum (so bad she's screaming when I try to change her napy!), Doesnt want to sit down because it is so sore, eczema, wont settle at night, runny poo's. I stopped and put her back onto just formula and within 24 hrs the eczema was better, she was happy again, going to bed at a reasonable time settled, nappy rash got better! I spoke to my HV and she said that it couldnt have been the cows milk because it has the same protein as formula. SO I tried her again on Sun with cows milk and we're back to square one again. She's really grumpy, screaming with her nappy rash the lot!! It cant be a coincedense that both times I have put her on milk she's teething really badly or aomething else it must be the cows milk?!?!? HELP!! Also the HV told me to wean her off the cows milk by doing half formula half milk, so I put 5floz of water then 5 scoops of formula and top it up with whole milk, is this right?!? Please help because I dont know what to do for the best!!
