Allergies and intolerances

14 month old on 3 month trial lactose free

Hi my little boy is about to start a trial of no milk for 3 months. He has 4-6 sloppy nappies a day and is very restless on a night. He has been diagnosed asthmatic but the Consultant doesnt feel its anything serious as he is a good healthy weight. I am looking for advice on what foods I can give and what I cant i know the basics cows milk, biscuits, cakes, cheese, yoghurts. Can he have bread? Any advice will be good. thanks

you may need to check the labels on bread as i think some brands may contain whey (which is obviously a dairy product).

Hi my nephew was lactose intolerant but he's 7 now and I have no idea what my sister fed him lol, but have googled some sites with some food ideas. Most bread does contain milk but tesco does a good free from range (expensive though 2 quid for a small loaf) and so I guess that other supermarkets do too.
Good luck! :-))xx

Most foods have allergy info on the packaging now which will say if they contain milk/dairy or are manufactured in a factory/bakery which uses milk/dairy so couldn't guarantee dairy free in that case.
