Worrying about my poorly baby

my 8 month old has been violently sick since yesturday afternoon. she also had diarrhea and has lost her appetite. we took her to the hospital and they advised to give her water and to keep an eye on her. today she is the same, she is usually sick after she eats although she wont eat much and when she is sick it is large amounts. she is also very tired today. she has no temperature but feels hot, just wondering if anybody has any advice or going through the same thing? thanks

they'll all get sickness bugs at some poin. do as the hospital says to keep her hydrated but she'll pick up in her own time. my eldest didnt get her first sickness bug until 18 months old and it was awful. she was throwing up constantly for a week, slept a lot and would barely eat but kids soon get over these things. she is now 4yrs old and has been ill for a week with a dreadful high temperature - nothing else though, just a temp - she was off her food and sleeping a lot but slowly but surely she is coming back to being her normal self.
