i just wanted to let other people know how brilliant and reassuring an angelcare baby monitor is, my baby was born premature and was in special care for the first week of his life, in there the cots have breathing monitors so if baby should stop breathing after 15 seconds the alarm goes off, when i took my little one home i was really panicking about putting him to sleep and i used to be up all night checking him. then i saw in asda the angelcare baby monitor which has a sensor pad that goes under the mattress and works just like the hospital ones, it senses baby's breathing and everytime he breathes the parent unit makes a beep noise its really reasurring for me, i dont need to keep going up and checking on him and in the night if i wake up i just hear the beep and i can go back off to sleep. these monitors are about _70 but i think they are worth every penny i would recommend it to anyone, and it has never false alarmed once, ive been using it for 7 months now i even took it on holiday and i dont think i could ever go without it.
