Advice and information4 month old screaming when needs toilet
Hi everyone, I have a 4 month old son which for the first 3 months suffered from colic, I give him cow and gate comfort for colic and it helped alot. At 4 months now I changed him onto stage 1 cow and gate. He has been feeding with it for over a week but at around 2 pm for the last two days he has been screaming the house down, today with his 3.30pm feed he went to the toilet and now seems better. Should I keep him on stage 1 or should I put him back on the comfort. He's always been a winding baby but is there also anything I can do to help with with the toilet. Thanks all x
put him back on comfort milk. comfort milk is for constipation as well as colic, so it was obviously helping him whereas the stage 1 milk is obviously not working for him at all.
thanks, I think I will, he's a big baby and everyone was saying putting with on stage 1 cause it will full him up better but he's still taking the same 6 ozs.
that sounds like a bit of rubbish to me! stage 1 wont fill him up anymore than comfort milk does, comfort milk is just easier to digest for babies who struggle with wind and constipation.
dont be tempted to go to stage 2 either as that is for babies who are taking full 8oz bottles and still wanting more. stage 2 milk does fill them up more but only because it is casein based rather than whey based but it still only contains the same number of calories.
