hi, i had to start weaning early with both my babies, well 1s not a baby no more he is 5, my baby is 18 weeks and i started him with tiny spoon of pure baby rice when he was just 12 weeks as he started to push alot of his bottles away, i had to try it as i didnt want him to go hungry, since i have started giving him spoon feed he takes all his bottles perfect now and his spoon feed, hes now 18 weeks and takes 4 8oz bottles during the day starting at 8am and finishing at 8pm with the 8am feed he gets a tiny bit of baby rice along with his bottle and at the 4pm feed he gets a bigger portion of baby rice along with his bottle. he loves it x

For now it's baby porridge for a few days. Can't believe how quickly the last 5 months have passed. Makes me want another one! lol xxx
hi I had my daughter katie on the 15th may so she will be 24 weeks on sun, I started weaning early due to reflux and she took to it great, she is now on three meals a day as well as four 8oz bottles.. she pretty much eats everything I give her, from sweet potato to butternut squash, apple bannan pear and porridge. shes a hungry little girl ss
I had lo 20th May and we are still mainly doing bf as she is showing no signs of wanting to eat yet she has the odd bit of yorkie and sweet tate on a sunday and a bit of fruit every now and again. i'm doing babyled weaning and find it easier as don't have to puree things lol. she will happily eat a bit of toast by sucking it lol. hopefully when she gets her teeth she will find it easier hehe :)
