I need advice in how to get my 13 month old baby into a routine of sleeping in her cot

It has got to the stage were i have to sleep downstairs with my baby as she is not sleeping in her cot any suggestions in how i can get her to settle in her cot.

Try taking one side of the cot off and joining it against your bed, that way she will think you are next to her and you will still be able to confort her to sleep. Use colourful/attractive bedding for the cot and attach toys to the other side of the cot or leave some of her favourite things in there. Make it feels like her special place.
Also it very important you establish a bedtime routine (winding- down process e.g. eating/bathing/changing/storytime/cuddle) it might be hard at first but it will get easier and you will both get into a routine.
