Due yesterday-strange stabbing bladder pains today?

My due date was yesterday but this morning I've been having stabbing pains in/near my pubic/bladder area. It literally feels like someone is stabbing me in the bladder! They aren't consistent - and my stomach sometimes gets hard when this happens - but that doesn't hurt at all. Do you ladies think these are contractions-What else could they be?
Baba is till moving about fine and jabbing me in the ribs so I wondered if she was just lying funny?
