hiya imdue 24th december with my second child i was 5days late with my first child...it is scary how close to christmas im due especially knowin i could go in to labour christmas day more so with having another child to look after...i dont want to miss her open her presents lol

I have been told my baby is due Christmas eve..This is my first baby so i dont think i will go on time.

Hi! I had my first scan last week and was given the news that my baby is due on Boxing Day. Have also been told that only 5% of babies arrive on their due dates and as this is my first it is likely to be between 5 and 10 days late. Not sure how accurate this is so I may end up having a Christmas baby after all. However a New Year baby would be better - I guess having a baby on 1/1/11 would be memorable. Anyway good luck to you all and hope we all have healthy Christmas/New Year babies.

Congrats! I'm also due on the 23rd... (at least that's what the doctors and first scan said*).
My tummy is a nice round package infront and I haven't put too much weight on all over, unlike my first, who was huge and I ballooned big time.

Fyi, just following up from the previous posts, my first was almost 9lbs, and arrived on time. Sure it can be a week or two either before or after the set due date, but it's different for all.

*A workmates relation was also due on the 23rd, however at a recent scan the date's been moved to the 17th Dec! Her bump is smaller than mine... hence I'm now wondering supposing my dates wrong too! Eeek! I wish I had a Xmas baby. Only the next scan will show, I'll post an update when I know.

Hi there, we initially worked my due date out to be the 1st Jan, but when we had our first scan we were told that it's actually the 23rd December. This is my first pregnancy too but I'm hoping i'm a couple of days early so I'm comfy and out of hospital with baby ready for a really special Christmas!! :)
